A new study from The Clinical Research Institute of America shows that The Beatles aren’t really freshman Tabitha Buton’s favorite band.
On her song of choice by one of the most prolific groups of songwriters in recorded history, Buton shared that she “just loves ‘Let it Be’”
Buton explained how her interest in The Beatles began, citing their “curse with airplanes” and their “attractive, all-American family” as points that drew her into the history of the band.
The details of the study find fault in Buton’s claims, even indicating a potential preference toward today’s pop superstar, Nicki Minaj. While Buton continues to fight accusations of dishonesty, she chose “Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and all the others” as her favorite members of The Beatles.
Buton reportedly does not deny routinely dancing and singing along to the radio stations that feature exclusively new, mainstream music. The student holds that she need not possess or listen to “cd’s” from an artist in order to like them.
“While Iggy is my jam, The Beatles are my favorite band,” Buton insisted, rocking a Beatles tee-shirt.
While several established Beatles cover bands have performed in the local area over the past ten years, Buton was hesitant to reveal whether or not she had been to one of their concerts and instead chose to go back to the songs of Lennon and McCartney and talk about how “they’re so good.”
At press time, Buton was taking some time to think of the name of that “other” Beatles song she likes.
