Parade Honors Uninjured Soldiers

A parade honoring those who served on Jan. 6, 2021 walked through the streets of Bobcat Way this afternoon.

The parade’s organizer, Joe Jorgenson, 45 or 7, was elated to see the sheer mass of people that decided to attend, which reached over 750 spectators at its peak.

“I’m stunned,” Jorgenson said. “I can’t believe this many people showed out to honor our brothers and sisters who were wrongfully persecuted for what they did on that day. They are American heroes and these people agree.”

Some spectators chalked it up to a misunderstanding.

“Wait we’re supporting what?” Senior political ignorance major Shelley Kerley said.

By the event’s end, a mob of spectators began walking toward the residence of Quinnipiac’s president. However, I only get paid to cover the event, so I went home.
