In an honestly not-so-surprising move, QU President Judy Olian asked students to quickly give her a tip before receiving their diploma at commencement this past weekend.
“It’s just gonna ask you a quick question,” Olian said before swiveling the iPad around toward the financially-traumatized student. “Do you want a receipt?”
According to witnesses, QU Vice President Monique Drucker was also seen scooching through the aisles with a collection bin.
“I mean it’s kinda fucked up that she’s asking for more money after all that we have to pay in tuition,” Said NFT Management graduate Carson Flynn. “I didn’t even think Australians had a tipping culture.”
Olian is reportedly also accepting tips in the form of cash, Venmo, Zelle, or EBT.
