Something to Chew On: In the 5th inning of Monday’s baseball game between Hamden High School and Yale Prep, Hamden head coach [forgot to get coach’s name] brought the entire defense to the mound for a discussion reportedly regarding the team’s postgame dinner plans. “We said if we won, we would go to Fat Wedge, and if we lost, we would go to McDonald’s and feast the dollar menu,” [coach] said after the game. Hamden eventually fell to Yale Prep 13-0.
